Owner Awarded $240,000 Against Tenant and Guarantors
In the case Merrick Blvd 9224 LLC against 92-24 Merrick Inc. Supreme Court confirmed a referee’s report that, after trial, awarded an owner $241,643.93 for rent owed by a commercial tenant and the lease guarantors. The court also confirmed the dismissal of the tenant’s counterclaims alleging constructive eviction, property damage and lost profits.
