Certificate of Non-Harassment

A Local Law was enacted 12/31/17 to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring a certification of no harassment prior to approval of construction documents or issuance of permits for demolition or renovation of certain buildings.

There is a pilot program that has been created regarding Certificates of Non-Harassment. Certain buildings have been placed on a “blacklist” and some on a “watch” list.
